Brooms to the moon

Fly to the Moon

You can’t reach the moon on a broom

Despite what those witches say

And your phone can’t take pictures

Of a million miles away

But master your maths and your English

Or become a science ace

You can build yourself a rocket

And fly yourself to space

If it’s made to travel the distance

Fast and strong, yet light

You might be the next generation

To visit earth’s satellite

Years have elapsed since those men

Stepped onto its surface and said

A giant leap for mankind

As they left behind their tread

Be bold and aim for the stars

Take risks, try hard; and soon

You could be making a trip

To the sphere they call the moon
